ACL Design is led by Alexander Carlile AILA, an internationally experienced Registered Landscape Architect with more than 20 years in the landscape industry. Beginning his career in horticulture and landscape design in 2004, Alexander later qualified as a Landscape Architect in 2009. He has since worked with leading international design practices, directed landscape architecture studios and departments, and contributed to award winning projects across Australia, the Middle East, the United Kingdom and beyond.
Alexander's experience encompasses the complete life of a landscape, from initial concept and technical delivery through to construction, planting and long term maintenance. This combination of creative, horticultural and practical expertise results in landscapes that are distinctive, enduring, technically sound and beautifully suited to their architecture, setting and owners.
A select number of commissions are undertaken each year, allowing every client to receive a highly personal level of service, close collaboration and meticulous attention to detail. From the earliest design conversations through construction and long term stewardship, each project is guided by a commitment to quality, longevity and a clear creative vision.
